Human Intelligence Drives AI Excellence

Intelligence is more than knowledge. It is imagination.

Artificial intelligence can state each reason we might admire Michelangelo’s David. The artist displayed a technical brilliance in carving the marble. David’s anatomy is so lifelike that he could step down from his pedestal. He embodies the Renaissance ideals of human beauty, intellect, and potential.

Human intelligence breaks AI’s mold. We are emotional, inconsistent, and limited in one moment. In the next, we are curious, playful, and brilliant. Upon seeing David, our breath catches, our muscles still, and our inner monologue stutters. We don’t aggregate every word people have written about the statue. We don’t retrieve patterns from billions of characters of text. We don’t statistically sample.

We live our own experience.

The AI we build today does not imagine. It does not dream. It does not stand in wonder in front of David. If we want AI to end cancer, define dark matter, and figure out what happens to that one sock every time we do the laundry, we need human intelligence.

Our mission is to instill AI with the very best of human intelligence.
