This Privacy Policy explains how Rival AI LLC (“Rival AI,” “we,” “us”) handles information on our website and through our “Contact Us” form. For our managed data-labeling Services delivered under Orders, we act as a processor/service provider—that processing is governed by your Order/DPA and our Terms.

1) Information we collect (website/contact only)

  • Identifiers & contact info: your name, email, and any message you send.

  • Technical/log data: IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, timestamps, and basic cookie/analytics data used to keep the site running securely and measure aggregate usage.
    We do not intentionally collect information from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable).

2) How we use it

  • Respond to your inquiry and communicate with you.

  • Operate, secure, debug, and improve the site (aggregate analytics only).

  • (If you opt in) send occasional updates; you can unsubscribe at any time.

  • Comply with law and enforce our terms.

EEA/UK legal bases: legitimate interests (site operation, responding to B2B inquiries, security); performance of a contract (when you ask us to take steps); consent where required (e.g., certain cookies or marketing).

3) How we share information

  • Vendors (hosting/forms/email/analytics) under confidentiality and data-processing terms.

  • Legal/safety and business transfers as needed.
    We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4) Cookies & tracking

We use only what’s necessary for site operation and basic analytics. We don’t run targeted advertising. You can manage cookies in your browser and, where offered, via our banner. Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor browser/device-based opt-out signals, including GPC, as a valid request to opt out of any sale/share (we don’t sell/share, but we still respect the signal).

5) Retention

  • Contact inquiries: kept up to 24 months (or less if you ask us to delete sooner), unless needed longer for legal reasons.

  • Server logs/analytics: kept up to 12 months in aggregate form.

  • Marketing email records: kept until you unsubscribe (then minimal suppression data retained).

6) Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, port, or withdraw consent.

  • How to exercise: email privacy@gorival.ai and tell us your jurisdiction.

  • California: authorized agents may act with verifiable proof; we will not discriminate for exercising rights.
    EEA/UK complaints: You may lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority (DPA) or the UK ICO.

7) International transfers

We are U.S.-based. For EEA/UK data, we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the UK IDTA/Addendum. If we self-certify to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and UK/Swiss extensions), we may rely on those mechanisms for relevant transfers; our certification status will be reflected on the official program list.

8) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege, vendor due diligence). No method is 100% secure.

9) Roles (website vs. Services)

  • Website/marketing: Rival AI is a controller for inquiries and site operations.

  • Customer Services: Rival AI is a processor/service provider; see your Order/DPA and our Terms.

10) Children’s data

Please do not submit children’s data via the site.

11) Third-party links

If we link to other sites, their privacy practices are their own.

12) California Notice at Collection (website/contact)

Categories collected: identifiers (name, email) and the contents of your message; internet/electronic activity (basic logs/analytics).
Purposes: respond to your inquiry; operate, secure, and improve the site; (if you opt in) send updates.
Retention: contact inquiries up to 24 months; logs/analytics up to 12 months; marketing until you unsubscribe.
Sale/Share: we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC).

13) Changes

We will update this Policy as needed and show the effective date. Material changes will include additional notice where appropriate.
